It’s a bit of an odd one really but, I’m from Ireland and have always wanted to fire a gun, don’t ask me why, I just do and there aren’t many places to do it here. Too many shoot out movies I suspect.  I mentioned yesterday in the #ubuntu-women channel about this and then we started talking, how it’d be nice to do this while I’m in the USA for the week, Amber Graner (who rocks btw) went and looked up places and Dinda gave some useful information.

It was a pretty interesting discussion, which has resulted in Amber and I organising a evening event on Monday. It’s open to everyone to come along and it’s only a few minuets from the hotel.  I’ve created a sign up sheet as we are limited to 25 people and it’s for two hours, all the information including the venue and prices which are pretty damn good are there also. It’s something different to do and should be some fun! Would be great to meet more people as well!
