Sorry for coming to the party a bit late here, but if anyone is interested I have some suggestions;

Open-source: a field-guide
How to best use Open Source in the real world, right
up to getting involved in projects directly, or as
simple as just using a project. Understanding some
small but key things can make an enourmous difference
in how much you get from each.

Getting an Open Source Job
How opportunities and networking work in the open-source community, how it's possible to use Open Source to improve your employability.

Apache: scaling the hell out of it
How to get tens of thousands of concurrent connections, how to benchmark, and how to serve millions of hits per day, from modest hardware.

Competing with the big-players using OSS
How to build scalable architectures using OSS. Build map-reduce farms with hadoop, scale services with quagga, have fun with Xen!
