<description>I am completley new to Linux thanks to the asus eee pc and I would like to know more about it.I am currently trying out Mandriva Spring 2008 as it was recommended for new users.
I am a Licensed Trade Stock Auditor
and I have been using a dos operated software for 12 years, and was fed up wit its limitations.I have always been pretty good wit spreadsheets and I designed a program in the hope that a small enough pc would come on the market, hence my prayers were answered earlier this year.
I just need some guidance about the software packages, and basically how to change from Microsoft to Linux without fear.

Regards
