Saturday 21st July 2007 Clarenbridge Co. Glaway George and Alma Curley presented Evin Curley to be christened. It was a lovely ceremony but was an unusual one , well for me it was.
There were 5 christenings going on in one go. 5 couple, 5 sets of godparents and 5 kids on the alter, one priest walking up and down and making light of the day and added in a few jokes, god grandparents, then great grandparents to stand up. It was nice. But not something I’ve ever seen before.
We went back to house of Alma and Georgie, where a fantastic spread was put on, kid could run all over, and people mingled. Kudos lads! When is the next one

I love Lahinch! It is possibly the one and only place I’m most at home at and relaxed. Woke up Sunday morning at stupid o’clock again!!!! and decided to just feck off for the day to Lahinch. Granted I was a tad hungover from the previous nights consumption of JD and Apple sours (mental note: dodgey combination) but it was a great idea! Before you comment I was well under the limit before I drove!
Headed down for the day, sweet lord! The amount of moronic tit drivers out there who have no concept of how to use an indicator! Bloody use them people! Stupid tits!Stop slowing down and just going right all of a sudden, I’ve probably already started to over take you, a little bit of notice you !! bah tits!
Anyways, arrived to Lahinch went for the mandatory walk on the prom before anything could be done. Then headed to Kenny’s for a bite to eat and read my book. Ended up spending the afternoon sitting on the wall reading my book till TC arrived and I went playing with the kids and going for another walk
Heaven of a day and eventually had to leave. I think if I could live anywhere I’d live in Lahinch
Did take some pics of the kids. The funny part of the day was trying to bribe Cillian to say ‘Laura’ every time he made an attempt I gave him a tayto
He learnt fast

So last week, I ended up sitting outside the Locke bar for hours. It was really nice and relaxing and funnily enough not flippin’ raining
I was the Designated Driver while the other two, Sarah and Olivia were enjoying their G n T’s! Decent crowd there mid week also, nice food, drink and place to sit and relaxing with heaters
Sitting there you could hear the bell ringers for an hour practising, and while I normally would not like that sort of thing, it was relaxing sitting out there. Also had a yummy steak sambo *nyom*
Tuesday night shall be repeated again!

And about time…..
Last night I ended up in the Green House, adjacent to The Bank on O’Connell Street. It opened a week ago and for those who have not been yet, get your skates on!
If you ever went to Soul Clinics or The Wicked Chicken, you’ll be wanting to go here! Some nice chilled out music mixed with some upbeat music add some soft candles cosy couches and loads of space and you have a new place to hang out!
At only €8 in, it’s well worth it for an enjoyable night, with loads of space to bop around to the music! Have a quiet drink and get cosy
Hopefully see more people there!

So I stumbled upon pix photo album site. Had a bit of a look around and signed up so you can see some of my pictures here. Firstly I must say signing up was a large PITA! I know some forms let you away with minimal information but this form required all details but didn’t say that they were compulsory. Nowadays forms have “Enter the text you see in the image” unfortunately I found the text very unclear and only after a failed attempt did it look clearer.
Finally logged in and you see this

This their date stamp is *ahem* off my a wee bit.
But I shall have a gander around and see what it’s like, nice to see an alternative to yahoo flicker.
